HIF Global's facility HIF Haru Oni produces e-Fuels with the strong winds of Patagonia and state-of-the-art technology. It is the first plant of its kind in the world, and very important for the future scalability of the technology and mass production of e-Fuels. Inaugurated in 2022, Haru Oni holds ISCC Plus certification for 2023–24–25 and ISCC EU RFNBO certification for 2025, and has completed several e-Gasoline exports to its customer Porsche for various demonstration events.
The HIF Paysandú e-Fuels facility will be our first project in Uruguay, and our largest in South America. It will provide approximately 3,000 jobs during construction and approximately 300 direct jobs during operations.
The first commercial-scale e-Fuels facility in Chile, taking the advantage of the strong winds of Magallanes region. It will provide approximately 900 jobs during construction and approximately 400 direct jobs during operations.
First commercial scale e-Fuels facility to be built in Brazil, producing e-Methanol and e-SAF. HIF has secured 70 hectares within the Port of Acu for initial development and the land has the approved environmental pre-license. It is expected to provide approximately 300 direct jobs during operations.
The first commercial scale e-Fuels facility to be built in Australia, harnessing the natural advantages of Tasmania to accelerate decarbonization. It will provide approximately 600 jobs during construction and 200 full-time permanent jobs during operations.
We have a strategic presence in Matagorda County, Texas, where we are evaluating future opportunities aligned with our renewable fuels business. Building on years of engagement with the local community and stakeholders, we continue to assess the best long-term use of the site as market conditions and opportunities evolve.
