Operational e-Fuels facility

HIF Haru Oni

HIF Global's facility HIF Haru Oni produces e-Fuels with the strong winds of Patagonia and state-of-the-art technology. It is the first plant of its kind in the world, and very important for the future scalability of the technology and mass production of e-Fuels. Inaugurated in 2022, Haru Oni holds ISCC Plus certification for 2023–24–25 and ISCC EU RFNBO certification for 2025, and has completed several e-Gasoline exports to its customer Porsche for various demonstration events.

HIF has secured 70 hectares within the Port of Acu for initial development and the land has the approved environmental pre-license. It is expected to provide approximately 300 direct jobs during operations.
