HIF Global is the world’s leading e-Fuels company, developing projects in different parts of the world to produce fuels with renewable energy, green hydrogen and recycled CO₂.

The name HIF represents the mission of the company: to provide Highly Innovative Fuels to make decarbonization of the planet possible now. HIF’s vision is to become the largest e-Fuels producer in the world, producing 150,000 barrels per day of e-Fuels by 2035, capturing over 25 million tons of CO₂, and turning 5 million vehicles.

HIF Latam, HIF USA, HIF Asia Pacific, and HIF EMEA are wholly owned subsidiaries of HIF Global. HIF Chile is already producing e-Fuels in their Haru Oni plant in the Magallanes Region.

HIF Global secured on April US$260 million in equity investments to fund e-Fuels projects in USA, Chile and Australia. HIF USA selected Matagorda County as the location for its first commercial plant. In May, HIF Global expanded to Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), launching a new office in Berlin, Germany. HIF Global, HIF Chile and Uniper signed a LoI for the sale and purchase of e-Fuels from the commercial plants in Magallanes. HIF Asia Pacific begins environmental permit process for large -scale plant in Burnie, Tasmania. HIF Global engages Bechtel, Siemens Energy, and Topsoe for e-Fuels facility in Texas. HIF produced the first liters of synthetic fuels in its Haru Oni facility in southern Chile.
