Thorsten Herdan, HIF EMEA CEO since May 2022, is leaving the company effective June 30, 2026. We thank him for the four years during which he built up the European business unit and significantly shaped its strategic positioning in the EMEA e-Fuels market and wish him all the best in his retirement.
Management will be assumed by Marcos Marques, Chief Business Development Officer and Deputy CEO of HIF EMEA, and Dr. Alexander Tremel, Chief Innovation Officer of HIF Global. Both have been with the company for many years and will ensure continuity in day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.
